If your Signet Marine instrument needs to be repaired or you think it should be checked out, our technicians can test it and provide you with a diagnosis of the problem and a repair estimate. If no problem is found, all you pay for is shipping back to you. Repair estimates are free of charge.

This is how you do it:

    1. Download the Repair Estimate Order Form Here
    2. Fill it out completely
    3. Print it
    4. Include the printed copy of the form in the box with your instrument
    5. Ship your instrument to the address on the order form

    If you do not have access to a printer, write a note with a description of the problem, your contact information with phone number, fax, and email, along with your return shipping address and your billing information. Include the note in the box with your instrument.

    A RMA is not necessary. We will contact you with the estimate as quickly as possible.

Our typical turn-around time for repairs is 2 to 3 weeks, however, we offer two levels of rush service.  Please select which type of service you would like by clicking on the appropriate button on your downloaded form.

Please note that these turn-around times depend on reaching you by phone, fax or email with the estimate and your approval of that estimate within 4 to 5 hours.

Systems comprising of more than three units or instruments that are extremely difficult to diagnose may require additional time.

  • NOTE: If you need your instrument repaired and returned to you by a certain date, for example, you are leaving on a trip soon or you have a race coming up, please indicate your "must have by" date on the final printed form you create. Simply write it on the paper before you ship it in the box with your instrument/s.

  • A Credit Card Number and Expiration Date must be provided on the form when Expedited or Lightening Fast service is chosen.  This charge will be debited upon the repair or estimate completion.

  • SHIPPING NOTES:
    We highly recommend that you ship your instrument insured with a company that provides online tracking of your shipment, such as UPS or FedEx. You will then be able to check the delivery status of your package at their websites.
